Guest guest
Fantastic! Keep up the good work! I don't know about everyone on the weight goal. I had a "range" and I'm in it by a pound. I'm so happy with the choice to get the sleeve, it has durastically changed my life. I thought I was on the road to diabetes, heart disease, etc. I feel like I have saved my life and I'm only 23 years old!!! I'm so happy for all of you whom are reaping the same benefits. It's a lot of work, but it's so worth it.Helena ClassP.S. Guest guest
Congratulations Helena, I am so glad that you are doing so well and have lost so much. Congratulations also on taking charge of your life while you are still so young! I wish I had done the same thin. I am almost 46 years old and am 3 weeks out from the sleeve surgery. I have lost about 21 pounds so far. I too am happy with the results that I have had so far. To answer your question about setting goals.... I set mine by t he chart that has weight rangers by height and body frame. I am 5 ft 6 inches tall and have a rather large bone structure. I selected 145 pounds as my goal weight. I have lost weight on my own before, but never down to that. The smallest I have ever been is 173, so I am looking forward to seeing what I will look like when I finally get near goal. Keep up the great work. s NC 315/296/145 > > So Today is my one month sleeve date..the 24th and I'm down about 30 > pounds...It's amazing. Guest guest
I was sleeved on Nov. 22 and I am so ready to be off of clear liquids. It doesn't help that it is turkey day, but for me I guess it is turkey broth day. I am happy that I have this past me and I am in recovery mode. I am totally afraid to weigh and still have that doubt that I will be the one to not loose any weight. Dr. Aceves and staff were wonderful. I have been in the hospital many times and this was the best experience. I can't wait to be normal.
