Guest guest
Hi All, Wednesday was an action packed day. Bianca Jagger did a beautiful job at the press conference. There were many cameras and writers there. Quite a few of our fellow advocates got pulled from the room to do stories for their local markets. made the news again! The briefing was awesome. What is interesting is that the Air Quality Industry and the Remediation Industry were there asking for mandatory regulations on their respective industries. We wholeheartedly think this is a stellar idea! Those victims that spoke did an excellent job. Two people in the room came up to Lillard- and told her she saved their lives from her Mold-Help website. of Mold Relief was able to do a presentation of the angel tree, which is for toys for mold victim children for Christmas. She did this presentation at the evening reception. Have not had access to much press, but am not hearing we made the front page world news anywhere. But...we are getting the attention of Congress. We have done a lot of lobbying for support in the past week. Response appears to be favorable. We are confident we will have many more co-sponsors of HR1268. And we will start getting legislation moving in the right direction. Without going into great detail, I did want to make sure you all know: There was a congresswoman who stood up and said in front of the media Cameras " toxic mold kills! " This statement brought tears to Katrine s' eyes who has been out here fighting this issue for over nine years. Nice to be acknowledged as telling the truth after so many years! This is what we need right now, for our nation's decision makers to understand we are sick from indoor molds. Tomorrow is " Tell the World Day " . I am hoping to be able to post to you all what was shared with Congress via the packets tomorrow. This operating the internet when we are all away from our home computers has been quite difficult. Will do our best so you all can see it asap. If not, " Tell the World Day " may be postponed to coencide with " We Can't Wait to Operate From Our Homes' Computers Day. " Which is scheduled for Sunday! Thank you all so much for supporting our efforts. Thanks for all your calls, faxes, emails. TOGETHER, We are definately raising awareness of this issue!
