I have surgery with Aceves on Feb 10 and I'm wondering what those of you with Verizon wireless service have found. Does your phone work normally or is on international roaming. I will be traveling alone and I would rather not bring the lap top, it will be missed at home, and it's an old heavy one. I'm hoping my phone works. Any insite you have I would appreciate. Guest guest
I have Verizon and when you are at the Hospital you are not roaming. Almater is so close to the border that your phone will have no need to go roaming.Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerryFrom: "Krista" <kspencer67@...>Sender: Date: Sun, 30 Jan 2011 17:23:48 -0000< >Reply Subject: Verizon phone service in the Almater Hospital Hello Aceves patients. Guest guest
I was just there earlier this month. I have AT & T and there were some spots in my room that I was connected to AT & T and other spots where I was connected to the Mexican system (which wouldn't work with my phone). So, if I sent a text and it didn't go through, I just moved to another spot, watched which provider came up on my phone, and re-sent it when AT & T came up. You shouldn't have any problems.
