Guest guest
Is anyone familiar with Liquid Vitamins, Inc., San Diego, CA.? Sunny, you seem to be well-versed in liquid vitamins. I received a free 10 oz. sample followed by a pitch for more including an offer to place a private label on the bottle with my name and office address for advertising. Their website is www.bestprivatelabel.com and includes some info on manufacturing (eg. cold press, cold filter, no filler substances, etc.). Should I be asking other questions? It appears to be a decent product at a fair price but I do not have any comparison as I have previously always used the capsule/tablet type supplement. I'd appreciate any help and advice. Thanks... Guest guest
Hi , The Bs & Cs are water soluble, therefore degrade quickly. So you'll want to look for what type of presevative they are using. If none, how do they explain prolonged potency? what are the levels of vitamins ... beyond the RDA? If not, it will be expensive to your patients. Remember the RDA came from research inthe 40s & 50s, testing what the body needed before it falls apart ... meaning, how little can you take and not have your teeth fall out. So that is survival rate....doens't say anything about what th body needs to be h ealthy. By the time we see them, most adults (and even the majority of the children) are already deficient ....the rda will only give them what they need for today .... how about what they need for repair? How much sugar is in it? Where do they source their nutrients? And most important .... willthey give you an assay. If they start the " this is proprietary " line, put down the phone and go back to your pills. If they won't assure that what you are buying is what you are getting, you can't do evidence-based medicine. For me personally, I have stayed from putting my label on things ... just tweaks my sense of ethics .... keeps me poorer too. (Damn, I hate being ethical at times.) I attempt ot teach people what they actually need ... not just to buy what I push ... I won't always be around and they need to know how to take care of themselves in the meantime. Hope that helps . Guest guest
Well, I have to give my two cents on the vitamins guys I order my vitamins from http://www.marketamerica.com/youarebeautiful (remember to take out the spaces to make the link work). I don't get anything for people ordering, this is not my website, I just strongly believe in these vitamins. They are in a powder form and you mix them with water. I can take them in the AM, when I'm at my tightest (band) and they go down fine. I feel better when I'm taking them consistently and I know that I'm not getting enough vitamins in the food I eat. After taking these for a few months my 2 yr old son was able to go off of steroids, allergy medicine and his nebulizer!!! I know these work!!! If you have any other questions about them, please let me know :)They are called Isotonix:I take Multi-tech with IronVitamin BCalciumOPC-3Worth every penny we spend on them!!! Cyrena DOB: 1/19/07240\130\150start/now/goal Who else is going on the 25th... costco premier shakes and gummy vitamins??? So..... I'm ging to be sleeved on the 25th (My date just changed). I'm flying down from northern california, taking a few days off of nursing school (I have my BSN in December) and going to change my life forever. I'am more than just excited....I' m counting the days, I can't wait!!! However, I do get a little nervous whenever I think about the actual procedure itself. I never had a surgery! I've seen lots of laproscopic procedures during school (gallbladders etc)....there isn't all the blood and guts and cutting (just a little..lol) . I was wondering who else is having it done on the 25th? You know, we're all lucky that we won't be involved with the candy on Halloween, I always find that time to be difficult for me, cute kids and candy always do me in But anyways, my wonderful boyfrind will be joining me in Mexacali, I was wondering, for those who bring partners with them, what is there for your significant other to do? My man is a bio-chemical enginner and I know that he is dying to visit the pharmacies (wants some weird body building stuff?). But other than that, what can he do besides sit by my bed side or study for the 3 days? Any suggestions? Does he have to go out and find food? I'm sure he won't be into sharing my "NPO status" or my "clear Liquid Only" protocol post-op So let me know if any of you are going on the 25th. I know that Dr. A is booked soild for the month of OCT. so I'm assuming that there are at least 3 of you out there who are going on the same day as me. Please contact me!!!! I want to know your names before I get there! Also, the costco premier shakes are only in choclate...YUCK. ..I'm not a choclate lover (or liker for that matter)...Can you get them in any other flavor? Also, the Gummy vitamins...No offense to them, they really are not enough to meet your body requirements. ..they're for little kids. Also, did you notice that they are missing quite a few things that you need? (I was looking at them yesterday). I would suggest finding a high quality liquid vitamin such as Trace Liquids Maxi Mulit by Trace Minerals one oz capful daily (30mls) http://www.bodybuil ding.com/ store/trace/ maxi.html. ...I think it's pretty good. Plus you would want to take a chewable calcium supp. Also, there are these B-12 losenges that "melt in your mouth"...yummy ....But they might really help those of you whom are defecient. Anyways...I hope all of you whom are awaiting a surgery and those of you who have had it done are excited/happy. ... Helena
