Example of philosophy:

You can make an existing school a healthier school. Start with preventive

maintenance that includes green-cleaning, IPM for pest control, reduction of

toxic chemicals in use, and an environmental health & safety committee that

involves parents, personnel, administration, and community. When the district is

ready for a big renovation project, you will have developed community

understanding of and support for designing, engineering, and renovating a

healthy, high performance building
