Guest guest
To all the awsome folks on this board that have always been great support I wanted to drop by and give an update on my weight loss. For a refresher for those of you who know me and just fyi for those new to the board ( a big ole howdy to all of ya by the way) I am 35 years old - the mother of 5 children ranging in age from 5- 14, I am 5'10 " and my starting weight on June 26,2006 when I had the blessing of going on Dr A's scapel to have RNY I was 302 pounds. I usually only weight in once a month on the 26th but I decided to cut myself some slack because the 26th of this month I will have just returned home from a 5 day cruise. So I weighted in yesturday... 212.... yeah - that is a full 90 pounds in 7 month 3 weeks. I am in 14/16s for the most part. I still have a couple pair of pants that are size 18 that with a belt I can keep on but they feel like I am wearing 'hammer pants' I feel human again. I am starting to level off emotionally it is certainly a roller coster sometimes with all the emotion and the drastic change so fast. I think I am finally looking in the mirror and seeing the smaller me. My mom at age 64 with the same height and weight stats as me had RNY done here in the stated on January 7th. Boy what a difference. I would choose Dr A and his team over the care my mom got any day of the week. But anyhow she has done well weight wise. She is down about 25 pounds in the 6ish weeks. I am so proud of her and it is nice to be on this path with my mom. Honestly I begged her to have it done because I wish to continue sharing things with her. She was becoming old at 64 and that is actually why I choose to go to Mexico because I saw myself becoming my mother at an accelerated rate. I don't blog/post often at all but I can hardly wait to reach to century mark so 10 more pounds. Which I do not see happening while on a cruise ship......Honestly I can not wait to be in UNDERLAND = the under 200 mark!!!!! My goal weight is 175 and I do intend to have a complete body lift at perhaps my 2 year out mark so I hope to level off one day in the future at the 160-165ish range. At 5'10 " perhaps I can become a model....lol!!!! God Bless each and every one of you. I will post some pictures after we get home from the cruise since I will be all dressed up and looking pretty. You can eat health on a cruise, you can drink water and exercise in the gyn, walk on the upper deck track or swim---oh yes, the dancing at night! Wooo hoooooo! Can't wait to see more great photos of you and the hubby!
