Guest guest
Yes, I stalled several times, one was for two, maybe three weeks. I know it is frustrating, but weight loss will begin again. It is a fact of life. Just continue being good and all will be well. From: classpassion <classpassion@...>Subject: Hard time with weight after 33 pound weight loss Date: Saturday, December 6, 2008, 11:42 AM I have been stuck at 195 pounds for a week now. I'm not over eating, I had the surgery on oct 25th 2008 and have lost 33 pounds since. I have been going to the gym etc and it seems like my body just doesn't want to give it up!! Anyone have this problem? Helena
Guest guest
It's normal. You won't lose every week. Just keep doing what you are doing and things will get better. On Sat, Dec 6, 2008 at 1:42 PM, classpassion <classpassion@...> wrote: I have been stuck at 195 pounds for a week now. Guest guest
There are times when my weight would stall. Sometimes for quite awhile. There can be lots of factors. You could need a fill. You could need an unfill. You could try kickin up your exercise a bit, drink more water, eliminate sugar and/carbs. Its different for everyone. Personally I had to get an unfill in order to be able to eat " healthy " high protein foods. I found I was eating too many soft, high carb foods so my body wasnt losing. It is different for everyone though so really examine what you are doing and change one thing and you'll likely see the scale move. SOmetimes your body just needs to catch up to itself. It's frustrasting but I'm not gonna give up...I've also lost 30-35 lbs since my surgery on August 30th.
Guest guest
I know a stall after weight loss surgery can be disappointing, however don't be discouraged.. It will start again.. I think that during a stall it is you body catching up with your head and skin.. and joining in and saying ok together we can do this. I've stalled a few times since being sleeved. But eventually the scale will start to move again. You are fresh from recovery and only been out 6 weeks so just enjoy all that you have already lost, remember you are on the losing side! When else can you say you lost 33 lbs in 6 weeks! You go Girl!! Robyn in CO Re: Hard time with weight after 33 pound weight loss >> I have been stuck at 195 pounds for a week now.
