Guest guest
Someone stated that Dr. Devi Nambudripad does not believe her treatments work for chemical sensitivities. This is incorrect. Dr. Devi does make the claim herself that NAET can clear sensitivities to chemicals. She refers to them as " allergies " to chemicals. From her web site at www.naet.com: An allergic reaction is simply an improper response of the immune system to an otherwise harmless substance such as foods, vitamins, medications, pollen, flowers, weeds, grasses, trees, dust, formaldehyde, plastics, metals, cats, dogs, fabrics, chemicals, heat, cold, etc. An allergic person can react to any substance around him and produce any usual or unusual health problems involving any and every parts and organs of the body or it can impair any functions of the body. Most of my severe food problems were sensitivities, not " allergies " (IgE-mediated) that show up on traditional allergy tests. (However, my traditional allergists agreed when I broke out in hives head to toe from wheat that this was indeed a reaction... a sensitivity!) I am living proof NAET and Bioset work. I have used both. Both work for chemical sensitivities as well as traditional allergies. I was a skeptic. But NAET seemed like a safe, non-invasive, inexpensive treatment to try. These treatments continue to improve. I go to a formerly " traditional " MD who does the treatments. , Minn.
