Dr.A & Bypass? Anyone out there who had Gastric Bypass done?

Thank you to everyone who responded to my topic 'nervous about going out of the

US'. My next question is specifically regarding bypass patients: Dr.A has

recommended that I have bypass. Most of the people I heard from were VSG

patients, anyone have bypass experience with dr.A?

I had my by-pass done by Dr. Aceves 2 weeks ago today. It was a very good experience and I have had

no problems. I was feeling well enough

to spend the following Saturday and Sunday sightseeing in San Diego.

I know that everyone is different but I haven't had any trouble getting

in my protein or my liquids so far. I am

determined not to let the scale rule my life so I haven't weighed yet and don't

intend to until my birthday in late November.

It will be a birthday gift to myself.

I do know though that I have

lost quite a bit by the way my clothes fit.

If you have any specific questions or want some more information I'd be

happy to share more with you off list.
