Guest guest
Hi Last time I knew the price for Sleeve Surgery was $8,750.00. I would suggest you call and ask them what the current prices are. I think you are on the right track. Dr. Aceves is the very best there is to do this surgery. Take care and NEVER give up on having this surgery. Suzanne In a message dated 8/21/2011 7:41:56 P.M. Guest guest
It cost me 9500 dollars. I finance it with my 401 k account. It is actually kind of sad because I am actually making more money on the interest that I am paying myself than I would have than I would on the investments I would have made with my 401 k account because of this recession. > > I am interested if anyone financed this procedure and how much it costs. >
Guest guest
It really depends on the procedure you choose. My sleeve will cost $8,750 plus travel expenses. I have not been able to finance (no credit) so I am saving the money to pay for it myself. Its alot of money to come up with yourself but it CAN be done if you are determined enough. One thing to remember is don't price shop. Alot of places in Mexico do it for under $5,000 BUT you WON'T get the level of care as you would with Dr. Aceves. You will be stuck in a hotel or " recovery house " post op... NOT in a hospital where you can be tended to quickly if heaven forbid something goes wrong (Dr. Aceves has a very low risk of complications- his record is impeccable but this IS MAJOR surgery and there are risks-period). Also, I know AT LEAST one doc in Mexico who has made mistakes- big ones!- and hides that fact, and another who's facility is exactly what ppl who aren't familiar with surgery abroad think of (dirty, chop-shop type facility). Consider price but don't let it be your deciding factor. ly, I would rather LIVE FAT than to set myself up to DIE sleeved because of a horrible infection that could have been avoided by being in a clean hospital just to save a few bucks!! I hope you feel the same! COSTS OF SURGERY(copied from the info that was sent to me when I inquired- prices in USD) Lap Roux-n-Y Gastric Bypass..........................................................................\ .... $ 11,700 US Inamed/Allergan Lap Band System and & Band $ 7,000 US Lap Gastric Sleeve $ 9,500 US Lap Band After a Previous Weight Loss Surgery (Bandafter) $ 10,500 US Lap Gastric Sleeve after lap band ( includes band removal) $ 12,500 US Lap Gastric Bypass after a previous weight loss surgery$ 14,500 US > > I am interested if anyone financed this procedure and how much it costs. >

Guest guest
Hi Christi, I used air miles to cover my travel expense and took out a cash advance from a credit card to pay for the surgery. It's costing me almost $300/month to repay that debt but I'm saving that much each month on reduced medical expenses and savings on groceries and eating out so I don't feel too much of an impact on my budget. I'd do it again in a heartbeat! Cheryl*
