Hi Everyone,

As your life changes look forward to taking new adventures in life. They can be

very simple. It was was fun to have my clothes become baggy and that was a good

sign to move on to the next size in clothing. Or go to go to my PCP and have

her remove someone my medications because I NO longer needed it. I now take very

little medication. The other thing that was always fun was to walk past a friend

I hadn't see in a while and not have her or him recognize me because I had lost

a lot of weight. I saw a teacher that I used to work with the other day and he

said " Oh my gosh you lost 1/2 a who you used to be. " LOL--lucky me--yes I did.

It has been almost 3 years since I lost this weight.

Biply is right, she said maintenance is the hard one to do. You lose the weight

and now you need to keep doing the lifestyle changes you have made in your life.

It would be easy to fall back into old habits. I am always searching and

looking for good healthy foods to eat. The new bread that I found with 14 grams

of protein was a great find for me and it only has 1 net carb. I know that I

NEVER want to go back to being FAT again. I do NOT ever feel deprived--the key

is small amounts of something and in moderation. I am able to eat a little more

after 3 years than I could at the start.

I know that I can always be successful. That is a good feeling. I want you to

know that if you are doing this or have already gotten to your goal you will be

able to maintain our weight loss. I go up and down between 5 to 7 pounds

sometimes, but I can lose it when I need too.

If you are sitting out there not sure about weight loss surgery. I am living

proof that at age 63 I had this done and I am healthier now at age 66 than I was

when I was 40 years old. So YOU too can do this if I could you can. I had

failed at every other thing I had tried to do when it came to weight loss, and

this was my answer.

Hugs to all of you,

Suzanne B
