Well, I will be arriving in Mexicali on 5/26. Having surgery to revise Lap band

to a sleeve on 5/27. I had my lap band done in Monterrey MX, so not unfamiliar

with that aspect of things.

I can't wait to have this band removed. I feel like crap.

Then I get all nervous and wake up in the middle of the night sweating.

I fear the traveling going home after surgery. Afraid it will wipe me out. Also

afraid that I will have more pain than before. After lap band I was shopping

the next day.... It is 9 years since lap band.

My questions are:

How long did you wait to go back to work? I will have 7 days after I get home

before I am scheduled to go back to work. I have a sedentary desk job. I do

not have to do anything physical except walk to bathroom and lunch room. LOL

Will surgical stockings be used?

Will I have a catheter when I wake up?

Thought I had a ton of questions but now drawing a blank.

I have been exercising, going to YMCA doing water jogging and strength training

to build up endurance. Also, to start the habit for after surgery. I actually

like it more than I thought I would. I have never belonged to the YMCA, whole

family is going. (Two teens and hubby)

, I wish I could be there a couple of days earlier to hold your hand. I

used to be terrified of needles when I was a kid so I know how you feel. You

will already be on the " other side " of surgery when I get there so good luck.

That is all for now, it is freezing in Wisconsin, have to take a hot shower and

get bundled up.

Warm Regards,

Lynne Noller
