Guest guest Posted January 16, 2008 Report Share Posted January 16, 2008 Hi all, I'm currently on mushies and having some trouble, as most of the mushies I've read about that are ok to eat are carbs. So I am drinking protein shakes to get my protein in, rather than through food (since meat seems off limits during mushies). Except for some yogurt and cottage cheese, I'm not getting protein from food. I realize I'm supposed to be more concerned with healing than losing weight, but carbs all day makes me feel bad...I start dragging and have lower energy. Does anyone have any suggestions of some good high-protein mushies that aren't really high in fat (like refried beans from Taco Bell)?
