Guest guest
He Al, What a wonderful experience for you. And you deserved the hugs. None of this is easy, and we all know that it doesn't just melt off of us. It takes work on our part. Congratulations on your weight loss. I have lost 30 pounds so far and now people that I knew before I had this done are looking at me and saying--wow you have lost some weight. I tell them I had WLS and then explain a little about the sleeve--seems like we all have a story to tell don't we? Then they all want me to explain what the sleeve surgery is and some ask about the lap band too. Everyone that I have talked to is so very excited over what I have done. I am so happy for you and your success. It is well deserved and I am sure you will reach your goal soon! Take care, Suzanne in Oregon In a message dated 12/2/2008 12:12:03 P.M. I was in Las Vegas over the Thanksgiving holiday and came across a young lady tring to get me and my wife to go on a time share tour. She kept pithing the all you can eat prime rib as one of the highlights, I finally said that food really didn't interest me and that my intake was restricted do to stomach surgery. She asked me what type I had and I told her a lap band. Well she jumped up and came aorund the counter and started hugging me. She was a bandster and had lost all of her wait and is now kick boxing and in excellent condition, solid as a rock. When I told her I had mine done by Dr Aceves, in Mexico and the cost, she was shocked and will be referring her friends to me. I am down to my last 25lbs to shed and this young lady reinspired me to keep going till I hit my goal of a total weight loss of 140 lbs. What a life changing experience. Thanks for listing.
