Guest guest
I must say that this was truly one of the best experiences of my life. I insisted on going alone even though I have an amazing husband that would have joined me. I really felt that this was all about me and my health and I put the weight on I did all the research and prayed a lot, I was going to do this myself God answers prayers the moment I got off the plane in San Diego, Ernesto picked me up and in the van was a RN that had DR A do the sleeve a yr earlier and was now bringing her sister. Then a call comes on Ernesto's phone to pick up 3 more ladies. What do you know another gal that had Dr A do the sleeve on her a yr before is now bringing her best friend and her mother to have the sleeve. Can any better referrals just fall into my lap like this? So at this Pointe all my fears are completely calmed. The hotel was very nice to an American standard of service and cleanliness. Then the Hospital ... Dr A came and talked to me and my new made friends to ensure we were 100% comfortable and aware of our choice! DR A very polite and respectful, his bedside manner is truly one I don't believe I have ever seen in all the care I've had in the U.S. I truly believe that our Dr's here in the U.S. could learn to take a lesson from Dr A in patient relations and bedside manner. I ended up being the first to have the sleeve surgery that morning. Now when I woke up not going to lie I was sore. I felt like my rib was broke for about a day 1/2. Yet I was up walking around the same day. If you have ever had a baby this is a breeze My care from Dr Compos just as good he was funny, down to earth and really took great care of me. There were 10 Americans and one person I do believe from Canada that DR A helped change their life in one week I was amazed. So I just wanted to share if there is anyone out there that is worried or scared maybe my story can help you. I spent a lot of time on this page reading before I went. Guest guest
SO glad you had such a great experience! I am wondering what the cost was? I had a band 4 years ago and probably will need it converted over, so it may be less because of that but I just wondered balloark figure? Thanks and good luck on your new life!
