I will be banded on the 8th. We will probably pass each other in the halls as we "sip and walk, sip and walk." My mom-in-law is coming along with me. She is a retired nurse and a total mother-hen. I have been a bit of a " lurker " on this board, but was thinking about reaching out to the group for some support. I just saw your email and thought that maybe we could work together on our journey. If you're looking for someone who is further into the program, I would understand and certainly won't be offended! I listened to around 30 podcasts and decided to go back to the beginning and start again and be very diligent about following the program to the letter (I had not done the journaling and such the first time). I've been overweight most of my life. I know I am an emotional eater and I really have little control over that issue. I'm hoping to get to the root of what drives that behavior. I am also, for lack of a better word, lazy when it comes to exercise. I've really been trying to get up the motivation to start jogging. I work around 14 hours a day and have two kids at home with my hubbie. I seem to be able to justify just " relaxing " since I work so hard. Alas, very little exercise. I'd love to join forces, if you are interested. If not, I wish you the very best of luck on your journey..
