I just got the sleeve on october 24th and I'm doing great. I could

basically tell you anything you want to know. I don't know anything

about the band other than two of my friends had the band done by dr.

Aceves. My life is great, it doesn't feel any different than it did

before other than I'm a lot thinner and I eat less. I'm still the

happy, outgoing, person I was before. I'm only 23 years old. I'm

planning on having a baby as soon as my weight evens out. I loved my

experience at the hospital, it was actually really inspirational! I'm

graduating nursing school in 7 days and now I want to go down to

Mexacali and work! Anyways, the surgery was worth evry peny. I had

never had surgry before and I was blown away by how safe I felt and how

competent the doctors were. They're all so experienced in this field

and they are used to working with Americans. The hospital was much

nicer then the hospital that I work at here in California. Cleaner,

more hospitable etc!

I really hope that if this is what you want for yourself then go for

it. I had one moment about 2 weeks out were I freaked out and started

crying thinking about how I would never be able to eat a whole plate of

Nachos....I stopped crying after a minute and realized that I really

don't ever want to do that again anyways!
