Hi all

I haven't been on in a long time and just want to let everyone know

that I am still around although not at home. I have been snowed out

of our place for over a month!!!! The wind and snows have been

terrible and the roads have been closed more than open in our

county. I spent 2 weeks in Florida where I did get together with

and we had a great visit. I will try to put some pics up

for all to see. Then we still couldn't get home so we have been

staying with our children in different states for the last 3 weeks.

We are planning to go to land to visit my grandson next week and

stay for 2 weeks. I hope to get together with Dana and Betty again,

we had such fun last fall. Anyway.....I am sick of living out of a

suitcase!

I also have an observation to make and maybe some of the rest of you

can put your 2 cents worth in too. Since I have been on the road, I

have noticed I really am much more restricted than following my

routine at home. There have been times when I have even considered

getting a small unfill but then I keep seeing the fluoro picture in

my mind of my last fill and how the liquid did go down. How can

that change just by traveling? I guess it is because we can't

always eat like we do at home when we are staying with family. I am

really struggling to keep much down and hope I can get this

straightened out before we have to move on to land. Right now I

am not eating anything until late afternoon and then very little. I

can not even drink anything except some broth or water without PBing

before about 3 or 4 PM. Then I can eat a small bandster meal at

night and drink much more water. Somewhere along the line I

suddenly could not drink coffee ot tea. They both cause severe

acid and I was PBing stomach acid first thing in the morning! That

has passed since I quit them. Well enough of this. The plus side

is that I have lost 3 lbs. since coming home from Florida and that

is a good thing.

I have been maintaining at around 158 forever and I still want to

lose about 15 more lbs. Jessie Ahroni recommended a book that those

of you who are " old timers " and have slipped into bad habits might

find helpful. It is called " Beck's Diet Solution " and it helps you

to train your brain to think like a thin person. There are many

good ideas in it for any of us! I got my copy on Amazon.com as a

used book. There is a workbook too if you want to get it. I didn't

but my daughter did.

Congratulations to all of you who have made this momentous decision

and to those of you who have reached your goals many kudos! I can

only say, as many others have, that it was the best decision I have

ever made and has changed my life forever. I have not gained back

any weight for 2 years!!!! Yea!!!!! I remain amazed when my new

clothes in smaller sizes (8-10) still fit each day as I put them on!

Best Wishes to all,
