Guest guest
Tonja, I had my surgery on April 18th and my first fill exactly six weeks later. I had stopped losing at 3 weeks and just never resumed, but dang that fill did a girl good! I am down 60 pounds since surgery, with 33 of that since my fill!!!!!!!!!!! So work it girl and just know we're all in this together! A > > I had my lap band on May 23rd. So far I am down about 23 pounds(give > or take a couple depending on the day). Guest guest
Hi , I read your post Re: losing 60 lbs already. That's amazing !!!!!! Way ta go !!!!!!.... I,on the other hand, have been losing and gainging the same 2 lbs for at least 10 days now. It's got to be the carbs and salt in my food. I have some fluid retention goin' on, I can see it in my lower legs/ankles. As I write this I am looking at my teadmill. I need to get my arse on it and start walking. I haven't been the model post-op patient. I have been drinking juice that is not sugar free, And maybe I have had 1 too many Jamba Juices ( not sugar-free ) . Tsk, Tsk. Any suggestions? Guest guest
Loretta, my buddy, I plateaued a couple of times actually...once for 13 days and then I woke up one day and like 10 pounds fell off over night. Then, I gained and lost the same 4 pounds over and over and woke up and BOOM seven pounds gone in a snap! Now once I hit 60, about 4 days ago, no more has come off and I'm okay with that. What I find is I lose weight, stand still, loose inches, and then loose weight again. I eat so little girl, I don't worry about the occasional butterfinger (I'm actually beginning to call Wednesday when I eat chocolate, BUTTERFINGER WEDNESDAY!), but I have never been much of a juice drinker. I will say I stop losing when I stop drinking my protein. But if you're doing that, then just be patient, time will heal what ails you, it's just a matter of time. You can't continue to eat 600-800 calories a day and NOT lose weight, no matter if part of those calories are from the juice of the jamba! Just stay the course and know we're all in it! Love ya!
