It's so nice to see so many other animal lovers! In addition to our four dogs, we also have 4 cats of our own and 5 more ferals outside. They are expensive to feed, but I figure the ferals are a cheap built-in security system. I too worried about my furrybabes while I was away, and decided that my boyfriend had to stay behind to take care of them.

a, I am so sorry about your Peke. I honestly never wanted one, we just kind of found eachother, My boyfriend and I adopted him from the SPCA last Jan. We went in looking for a big dog, because I was used to having one around the house and felt safer. He suggested the Peke, and the next thing I knew we were going home with a 12lb fluffy monster. He's the love of my life now! I always take great pride in telling people I adopted him from the SPCA whenever they "ohh" and "ahh" over how cute he is, and ask me what breeder I got him from.
