Guest guest
Ultram was developed for FM. In order to metabolize it one must have no defects in Gene 2D6. See Genelex.com, or just look up Genelex and go to the page that shows other drugs in the same class that can make some of us very sick, such as codeine. I took one Ultram and I probably would not be here if I had taken two. I vomited for 6 hours, my heart did that funny thing for about 2 hours, my CNS was wrecked and to top it all off--I began to hallucinate. We called the hospital and the doctor and they said that it would be out of my system in about 4 hours. I was in bed for three days after taking Ultram. It should be off the market, just like the other " chemicals " that I write about until my fingers fall off. In order to see if you will react to certain sets of drugs one can send in a cheek scraping to Genelex (no $$) and pay about $150 to $200, or you can scan the drug list under Gene 2D6 and see which drugs in that category already make you sick. CFS/FM/MCS patients should NEVER take a whole pill of anything initially. Crush it up or open a cap unless the manufacturer says not to do this. In some cases I have opened something like Dexedrine and taken four or five of those tiny balls and, yes, for me, that is a dose. With ritalin, same thing goes, except that that drug causes me to fall asleep. Many of us are disautonomic (meaning that our regulation of heart rate, blood pressure and vasomotor system, etc. is not properly controlled by our brain) and additionally many of us cannot metabolize chemical pesticides and drugs. In the case of Ultram, the manufacturers know the percentage of the population who will be sensitive to it--anyone who cannot take codeine, yet there is no warning on the label. I think 20% of the population may have life-threatening problems with Ultram--just as a guess--and yet the pharmaceutical industry can do as it pleases. We have to recognize that although I took only one pill, my insurance company paid probably $50-$100 and I paid $10. What a bonanza for a drug that does not work for me and makes me sick, plus allows me no legal recourse. Since taking Ultram did not kill me or constitute a claim in excess of one million dollars, no lawyer would care to represent me. Had I taken two of the pills I honestly believe that there would be no such internet handle as jannarone@..., any more, as if anyone in industry would care. In that case the pharmaceutical company would still get out of it somehow, probably based on the fact that I am already sick. We must remember who makes the laws--congress, controlled by the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Who controls the FDA? Chemical and pharmaceutical companies. All of us should take heed regarding drugs actually targeted for us. Ultram's target audience is FM sufferers yet those may be the people most likely to react to it. Guest guest
could someone please tell me which lab is best for getting tested for EBV, CMV, and HHV? the hospital sends it to Quest and then it will be covered by Medicaid, but if i send to another private lab, its out of my pocket, anyway, i dont know how good Quest Lab is , so any info would be appreciated, thanks Radha
Guest guest
What's more, Ultram takes about an hour to get into your blood stream. After taking one, about forty-five minutes later I took another one, and I had a horrible anxiety attack. Mike > Ultram was developed for FM. Guest guest
I have found diatamaceous (sp)earth to work well for all small soft bodied insects..I did the perimeter of my yard and they vanished. I am struggling with carpenter ants in my house. The local garden center had a nice smelling clove based spray...doesn't work though.
