Guest guest
Hi Barb There are two holes for the outside and two holes for the inside. Incoming outside air comes in one hole, throught the heat exhanger and out the hole which puts fresh air into your furnace. On the opposite side, there is a hole which " sucks " the inside air, this hole can be independantly hooked up to vents throughout your home in most likely the bathrooms & hallway like we did ours(our basement ceiling was removed so we had access) or on the return side of the furnace, but farther away than the fresh air hook up. This inside air then goes through the heat exhanger(to heat up that incoming cold air) and is blown out through the last hole to the outside. http://lennox.com/pdfs/brochures/Lennox%20Elite%20Ventilators.pdf That link shows a picture.
