Yes! Get one of Hulda 's books and do the entire cleanse program

ending with the Liver Cleanse. She says (proves) that gall stones

actually come from the liver. I've done the Liver Cleanse, and I have

to agree with her. You can find info on the internet about the other

cleanses, but I think the Liver Cleanse is harder to find because it is

very important that you do the other cleanse(s) first. (Takes about 3

weeks, but is not expensive.)

I've seen her books at the library (two are: Cure for All Cancers; and

Cure for All Diseases). Skip the really off-the-wall stuff as it is for

really sick people with cancer and/or other serious diseases. The

cleanses are for everyone; so are gall bladders. Glad you want to keep

yours!

Liver cleansing. Go to the website

http://home.sol.no/~dusan/blood_type.html

and find the home page - then find the pages on liver cleanses. Not easy

but it works! I've done it several times and am due for one now too. I've

done the Dr. ones and the ones from The Cure For All Diseases

and have gotten rid of tons of little green gallstones. Good luck! Jeanie

If you go to the web page given before find the home page and then just

follow the instructions. Sorry - flying to Anchorage in the morning and

have a million things to do. Its on there though! Jeanie (the website is

on the bottom of this page too - the one with the word /dusan/ on it - it

will lead you to the home page and the cleanses).

A friend of mine had her gall bladder removed after her second child

was born. She was the type of person who, when not pregnant, ate like

a little bird, but the minute she was pregnant her appitite sky

rocketed, and all she wanted was greasy foods. That did her gall

bladder in.

After the surgury she had a short time for recovery (she had the

orthoscopic surgury, where they go in through just a couple of small

holes,) I think a couple of weeks before she could do heavy lifting,

and by six weeks it was all in the past. She felt great, had no more

pain or nausia, and was finally able to comit herself to a diet and

exersise program.

If you think you have gall bladder problems, you really need to just

bit the bullet and get it taken care of. You will feel so much

better once you do.

-You're a jewel, Arthur. You were so funny back in those days. For

me, I really don't care about the science behind the flush because I

just don't care for science. lol What works for me is it has

improved my health. It is SO beneficial. Saddens me when somebody

can't seem to tolerate it. The parasite cleanse is a good thing to

do first, but I've also had really good results without doing the

parasite cleanse first. I think one of the reasons it makes one so

sick is because of all the toxins being flushed out. Also, I've

found drink water during the flush and it makes thing so much

easier. The advice of refraining from eating or drinking anything

after two caused me (IMO) to become dehydrated. That plus releasing

all those toxins were pretty rough to endure. I still don't eat

after 2 but do drink water anytime I want it. A great help. Gail

ps. I'm in a hurry now but am interested in the sequentiaal thing if

you find his website, remember me please.

No, he won't do it unless there is a medical reason to do so. And he's right, it's similar to having heart bypass surgery... just in case. ;o) Your gallbladder has a function and if you can keep it, all the better.

It would be around $7K in the US so if it is $1200 that's a pretty good deal. It's longer OR time, etc. He has to pay big bucks to the hospital for OR time. It's not by procedure, it's by time. If you go to your mechanic and get your brakes repaired and you need a new... I don't know, car part... doesn't the mechanic charge you for each bit of work he does AND labor? He's in there anyway working on your car, see what I mean? Doctors are no different, they just have higher overhead.

When you go get your hair done and you want it cut, they are working on your hair anyway. If they color your hair it is an additional fee, more overhead, more chair time, more supplies to use, more everything.

I see what you mean, Bipley. I was taken by surprise as I had been

thinking of it as a freebie.

I realize I was picturing the gall bladder as just dangling there,

ready to be snipped. wasn't thinking it would take more time.

I've heard of people having to have their gall bladders removed after surgury.

I'm wondering if any of you have experinced or heard of this. A friend on mine,

who had gastric bypass said that her doctor gave her medication to prevent

needing it.

Dr. Aceves told me he doesn't give that drug because it's too hard on the liver.  I already knew that and even if he would have offered it I would have declined. On Wed, Jun 22, 2011 at 1:28 PM, christie <salazarchristie@...> wrote:

Hello,I had my sleeve with Dr. A in July 2009. I lost about 114lbs. In October of 2010, I had to have my gallbladder removed due to multiple gallstones and inflammation. My doctor said the rapid weight-loss was most likely the cause of it. But please know this- although it was an unexpected problem, I would not change my decision for my sleeve for one second! It has changed my life for the better. And now I am about 4 months pregnant with my first child, and healthier than I have ever been. Losing my gallbladder and the hair loss are all minor things to me when I compare the LIFE I gained from the weight loss!My advice- go for it, you have a life to gain! It is a risk with major weight loss. I have heard there are several doctors who go ahead and remove it when they do the VSG. Your gall bladder and liver will be processing so much extra cholesterol which can cause stones. I think I read somewhere that the chances increase by 44% with rapid weight loss. I had surgery in Aug last year and did have one experience with severe right pain in my rib area which was a possible symptom, but nothing since then. There are meds that can help prevent a problem; however I've heard the side effects are not worth it to some folks! There are so many other life "changes" that can cause gall stones (like being pregnant, which i currently am so my risk must be out of this world and I still am going strong!) and some people live much of their life with a bad gall bladder and don't even know it! I figured it was just a small price to pay

for my health and happiness!I did a lot of research on this in the beginning and so I know there is a lot of information out there if you start poking around. Sent from my iPadOn Jun 22, 2011, at 4:28 PM, "christie" <salazarchristie@...> wrote:

Hi Jenni,

Boy to I agree with you he is a fabulous doctor! I do remember you being switched from a lapband to a sleeve. How is the sleeve working for you?

Massive weight loss can often cause one to have to have his/her gallbladder removed. Yes, I did have to have mine removed. After going to numerous doctors here in my hometown (Mobile, AL) no one could determine what was wrong. So, after having MAJOR problems while attending a conference in L.A. Calif, I went for a trip back to see Dr. Aceves and he diagnosed it almost immediately and I had him perform the surgery even though I have great insurance at home. He is the best surgeon around and I prefer that he is the only one who operates on me. In fact, he has done so now about 6 times!!!
