Attn all you in NY who seek good doctors:

Friends,

I am not political, but in recent years realize if I want good medical care

from the best doctors in the USA, I will have to occasionally contribute 4

minutes. In the next five days the NY Governor which make a decision that will

effect the nation.

I am a research and practicing physician usually exposed to many things

which a medical state board does not know. Currently, State Medical Boards,

often led by attorney prosecutors and attorney hearing officers, who are

clueless

about 1980's medicine, are a new powerful force against many forms of 2005

medicine. And research shows in some areas the " consulting " doctors on these

boards are 5-15 years behind the best medicine, and their experts are

unethical, incompetent, lie for money, treat no patients, or present their

position

as fact when many opinions are fully valid.

So you are already beginning to lose the sharpest docs for your loved

ones--your family and friends. The most progressive and intellectual physicians

treat the sickest folks. But now they are spending their years fighting and

going bankrupt with attorney fees. The docs willing to take on the worst

suffering people get burned the worst. And the Vioxx-type simplistic docs, just

keep

on seeing 10 folks an hour and quoting drug reps.

The NY state legislature on both sides UNANIMOUSLY VOTED for state medical

board reform including letting doctors present medical studies in court! No

joke. How often do both parties and all members agree on anything?

But currently Governor Pataki is seriously considering vetoing this state

board reform bill. It will effect the entire nation. Many states are watching

this reform.

Please. If you have ever had or known any seriously sick loved one or

friend, and want the best doctors to be available to treat challenging people,

do

as asked below. Or you may find in the future what is already happening. You

will find no one to treat your severe chronic pain but serious surgeons. And

anyone with a clue on Tick illness will be unavailable. Anyone using new

treatments for desperate and dying pateints will simply die. 20 more scenarios
