I look taller now someone told me

Hi Everyone,

Well, this was a first in my life—the morning. I have a friend that

I walk with 3 days a week in the morning. She has been so supportive

of me from the first time I told her what I wanted to do. She has

been a great friend through out my journey in my weight loss. It has

been two months now since I had my surgery for the gastric sleeve.

Yeah!

Well, this morning we met for our morning walk at the mall and she

said to me. You know when you met me this morning at my car and we

were waling into the mall, I thought you have lost so much weight you

look " TALLER " now. We both started to laugh at her statement. I

said well this is a first for me to have someone to tell me I look

taller now. Ladies I am 5'3 " tall and I don't believe I will grow

any taller at age 63. So that is just one effect weight loss has

going for it—you now look taller. I guess it is because I am not

wider now. Anyway it made my day and I thought I would share it with

all of you.

I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a great New Year. Just

remember this is going to be a Christmas that for some of us—we

aren't going to be over eating and we won't gain weight this Holiday

Season! It feels so good to be this happy and feel this good about

myself. I know this is going to be a life style that I can be

successful at for the rest of my life.
