I like the idea of getting rid of those ghrelin 'gremlins' that continue to plague us! If the sleeve is a more advantageous method of reduction, then I am wondering if more people will be going towards that instead of banding. Keep us posted on your results and the what the outcome expectations are. You are most likely doing this to keep the weight under control and get rid of the band. Right? I liked Ed's questions of whether or not the sleeve is expected to stretch....(of course with any type of overeating that is a relative probability) and undo any of the surgery. Throwing in the reduced stomach size would be an added benefit for me. I am curious if the reduced stomach allows for stretching, which should not be an issue if the appetite is reduce, it seems.
