Guest guest
Ok, so not sure if I should be worried or not! For the last three days my weight has been just the same. There has only been a couple of changes to my routine, 1. I went back to work, I work a twelve hour day starting at 5 am and am on my feet most of the day. 2. I have added some new foods (of course a tablespoon here or there) mashed potatoes, yogurt with fruit, mashed carrots. I am 17 days out of surgery, and not sure if this is normal? Of course I have also in that same time frame lost 22#'s. Yesterdays Food: 1 shoft boiled egg 7 grams protein 1 Bariatric choice Drink 12 grams protein 1 Premier Protein Shake 30 grams protein 1/4 yoplait light peach yogurt 2.5 grams protein 1 Bariatric Choice Hot Cocoa 12 Grams Protein 4 Tablespoons Mashed Potatoes with Vegtable Soup liquid on top So roughtly 75 grams protein and 560 calories and 34 carbs This is a pretty typical day right now for me. Guest guest
Hi, Not to worry, this is VERY NORMAL we all have had stalls. The only thing I would watch is your carbs. Try to keep your carbs at no more than 20 per day. What are you using to track your food. The is a site that really helped me http://www.livestrong.com/thedailyplate/ It is very important for the first 5 or 6 months that you track everything you put in your mouth. This site will help you. And when you exercise track that too, because that allows you to eat a little more calories. You will always know what you are doing everyday if your record it. I know it takes time to do, but it is worth it. I know you are just 17 days out and I see you calories are at 560. I know how very hard it is to get all the food in you should have. A good balance is 800 calories a day and no more than 20 carbs per day. But after this first month you can work on that. To make you feel better I went for 9 days straight in a row with NO movement on the scales. I promise you that if you just keep doing what you are doing that it will start up again. DO NOT panic, this is so very normal. Later on you may run into another stall too. Just do what you are doing, it all looks pretty good. Hugs, Suzanne In a message dated 10/29/2011 3:12:00 P.M.
