Guest guest
Thanks for the words of encouragement. I keep telling myself that. I probably need to stay off the scale too. It gets disappointing when you see the same exact weight every day. I won't stop what I am doind. I know if will come off. I just have to be patient. Thanks! Your body is still adapting from from surgery; it's catching up. Stalls are common, be persistent and continue doing what you are, the weight will come off! :)I average about the same amount of calories per day and exercise only 4 times per week (I bike 10k) however, that is due to my health condition unrelated to the surgery. Make sure you drink enough water.Great job! :)Lise>> > Okay so I know all of you have experienced stalls but I just wanted to make sure that what I am going through is normal. I followed my post-op diet just as I was told, I take my nexium daily and have not had any issues at all with heartburn/reflux, I have about 80 grams of protein a day, about 800 calories but then I walk twice a day (about 4 miles total) and burn about 300 of those calories. I feel great, have not had any complications what so ever. In the first 2 weeks I lost about 22 lbs. Now, 7 weeks later my total loss is only about 25 lbs. I know that is a lot of weight in a 7 weeks period but I am just worried because it seems like it is stopping. I have not lost a single pound in 2 weeks, even with me working out 2 times a day. A few weeks back I gained 5 pounds in 1 day, then it took me almost a week to get those 5 pounds back off. I am not understanding what is going on with my body. Nor do I understand why I gained weight. Shouldn't I be losing? I guess I just want to know if anyone else has experienced this and if so, at what point did the weight start to come off again?> > I lost 22 pounds in the first 2 weeks, then it has taken me 5 more weeks after that to lose 3 pounds.... is this normal?> > Thanks!> > Keela>
