That is great!! I agree with everything you said, I think this was the best decision I have ever made!!!I am 14 weeks out and as of today down 72 pounds!! I gone from a tight 24 to a 18 and still dropping. I have just started an exercise plan and hope to lose the next 60 pounds within the next three months. I love my SLEEVE!!!Sent on the Sprint® Now Network from my BlackBerry®From: "mexicalivsg" <mexicalivsg@...>Sender: Date: Mon, 04 Jul 2011 17:07:59 -0000< >Reply Subject: 8 weeks Post Op and 45 inches LOST I am 8 weeks out 36 #s down and have lost 45 inches on my body--8 inches OFF my waist. Wooooo Hoooo -- thank you so much Dr Aceves!! I am down to a size 16 from a size 20 and I am wearing my summer shorts. I would love to tell everyone considering the VSG with Doctor Aceves to move forward as fast as you can with your decision--I am thrilled with my results. And as Dr. Aceves told me before my surgery, the surgery is 50% of your weightloss and YOU are the other 50%. I was listening to Dr. Weil talk about his anti-inflamtory diet, and realized that it is a really good choice for a VSG patient after your first 90 days. I only had my sleeve on June 28 but I am having a terrible time with the taste

of the protein (the after-taste actually) and am forcing myself to take it

because I have been feeling so weak. It's not easy right now. I'm sure it will

get better? Right?
