Guest guest
Hi , I promise you that the powers that I have recommended do NOT have a after taste and they really do taste good. I am like you I couldn't get them down if they did. I love Premier Protein drink. It is already mixed in drink boxes and I put it in a blender with a few ice cubes and still 3 years later, that is what my breakfast is if I am not using the powers that I mentioned. Good luck, Suzanne In a message dated 9/18/2011 5:31:50 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time, essentialseraphim@... writes: Thank you Suzanne and Bipley for the replies. Suzanne, I read your post on diet from earlier months: in fact I read all messages on the board since January of this year to be sure I had as much information as possible. I have done protein shake diets in the past and actually know of several powders that are palatable to me and have the required nutrients. My research also tells me that most protein powders are high in heavy metals and aren't really healthy so I was looking for tasteless alternatives just in case I can't get the powders down after surgery.Bipley, the name of the product is exactly what I posted in the title. It is amino acid supplemented hydrolyzed collagen and is used in hospitals after surgeries as well as for tube feeding. It has 17g of protein in one ounce of liquid and no carbs. I'm very conscious of nutrition and my go to protein powder of choice is vitamin fortified soy isolate which I think is nutritionally sound. I was hoping someone else had found and tried this protein. Since it's not a powder it doesn't need to be mixed with 6-8oz of water,I th ought this would make it easier to get the required protein during the clear liquid phase. Possibly no on on the board has heard of it so if I order it and find it useful I'll post to let people know. Thanks to both of you for the support! I notice that both of you are very helpful on this board and I know the information and wisdom you put out there for us newbies is invaluable.>> Hi All, I'm a new member and have just scheduled my sleeve surgery with Dr. Aceves for November. I'm researching my options for the clear liquids phase and came across a product that provides 17g of protein in 1oz of liquid. Sounds great, but I wonder if it has an icky flavor. Does anyone know? Its an expensive product that doesn't offer samples so I'm hoping one of you can offer feedback.> > >

Guest guest
Where are you located and do you know why Costco pulled it? I love chocolate Premier Protein and get mine from Costco. I tried their strawberry and vanilla and would buy the strawberry but they do not sell that at Costco, only online. Would like to know why they pulled the product. Thanks Liz Re: Re: Anyone tried ProSource Zac liquid protein? Hey Suzanne, have you or anyone else had problems finding premier potein drinks? Guest guest
I have stopped buying it as well as the last 2 times I bought the protein drinks they were chunky and I returned them. I was told many people had returned them for the same reason and I am in Canada. It wouldn't surprise me if Costco here stopped carrying it as well. Guest guest
Yes, it looks like milk chunks. I don't know if it means it is spoiled, I never tasted it to "compare" to the good ones (just the thought makes me nauseous!). I did smell it and it doesn't smell spoiled. I would think you would notice even if you were drinking straight from the carton.Sent from my iPhoneOn Sep 24, 2011, at 3:22 PM, Kim Rehn <kitr319@...> wrote: Is it like milk where chunks means it's spoiled?
