Guest guest
Sheri:Yes! About a year from surgery, my stomach did that! It was LOUD and embarrassing! It would always happen at the oddest times! But it did go away. So, now, three years later, I do not hear it. But the cues for being full still work! Runny nose, hiccups, burping, etc. They still work very well!GailFrom: SheriH <pokeysher@...>Subject: noisy stomach Date: Thursday, September 22, 2011, 6:43 AM Hi, I am almost a year out from my surgery. Guest guest
Thank you for the response Gail. It's cool to hear from someone who is years down the road. Can I ask, have you had any trouble maintaining your weight? Do you have to work at it? You know, exercise, eating well, all the important stuff? I am curious about the road ahead. I have tried to make this about changing bad habits and making lifestyle choices, but I wonder if it gets more difficult as time goes on? Thanks again, Sheri > > From: SheriH <pokeysher@...> > Subject: noisy stomach > > Date: Thursday, September 22, 2011, 6:43 AM > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Â > > > > > > > > > > Hi, I am almost a year out from my surgery. Guest guest
Sheri; My biggest problem is exercise. The weight and stomach still work wonderfully well! I don't have any problems, but sitting in front of the computer is not conducive to maintaining weight. I gain and lose about five pounds all the time....but it is not the struggle that I had prior to the weight loss. I can really still lose about 15 more pounds in my stomach. But that too will come. I have a deadline up to June 2012. I am finishing my Ph.D., my son is graduating all in June 2012. After that, I will have a more normal life in which to find the time to exercise, and be on a decent schedule. Until then, I am tied to the computer for nine more months!Cheers!GailFrom: SheriH <pokeysher@...>Subject: Re: noisy stomach Date: Saturday, September 24, 2011, 2:14 PM Thank you for the response Gail.
