Who can tell me about an expanded esophagus!

I went to a Dr. in Dallas last week for a fill. Last March was at the

hospital with Dr. Aceves and they did an unfil. i thought it was time

to do a refill as I have picked up about 20 pounds again. i was/am

having problems with acid reflux. the Dr. in dallas did flouro and

said I have an expanded esophagus and needed to completely unfill the

band for at least 30 days for the esophagus to heal up.

Has anyone else had this problem? Does it usually heal up on its own?

What did I do to cause the stretch? someone give me some info please.
