I don't know who came up with the hair dryer....it was on the list a while back and I thought what a great idea! I actually will use the hairdryer after I wrap. Guest guest
Thank you dear one I know I'm okay and that I'm a good person. And who's to say my mom didn't care? Jenni Hello Jenni, Well I for one know that your Mother gave birth to an Angel...and you are a gift to all of us who know you, so we now know how foolish anyone was to make this judgment. I know that God thinks you are perfect and well worth loving and so do I, Rashelle This reminds me of the " Gerber " baby. Scars can come in all shapes and sizes. My biological mother had me in a prison. When she put me up for adoption, the agency she wanted to use (it was a religious organization) wouldn't take me because I wasn't " perfect " . One of their definitions of " perfect " was NOT being born in a prison. It is documented on my record " No one will want her because of where she was born...like mother, like daughter " . So, sweet one, you're not alone or entirely different. The triumph comes when people accept the means of escaping the prison through Jesus. What a sweet testimony you have, and what a wonderful thing for your family that you were able to get to know the sweet, lonely man in your church. Guest guest
Jenni, You are so right. I think giving up a child has got to be the hardest thing in the world, but also the most selfless. Your birth Mother surly blessed the people you know as your parents. My cousin couldn't have children but is the Mother of 2 boys, because of the selfless actions of 2 women. I'll say a special prayer for her tonight... Love you, Kiki

Guest guest
Oh Jenni, Your prayers mean the World to me; and my Dad will love hearing this as well. I too am so proud of him. Parkinsons is a horrible disease; and everything else that happens to his body and mind from the disease takes its' toll. A few months ago my husband and I sold our home to that we could live with my Dad at his house. He does need almost constant care; and he would never feel comfortable with a hired live- in person staying at his home. For the most part, his memory is as sharp as ours. : ) The most difficult thing tho is keeping his spirits up; and keeping him moving as much as possible. I am still working the midnight shift as well that's why I seldom have time to write to our friends here on this great list. But I miss it so much so I am trying to make it a priority to write during breaks; etc. We plan to do the sit part again of his video this afternoon. He doesn't feel steady enough on his feet to try the standing exercises; and fine by me! So you can count on us doing it today! His face was truely so childlike while the tape was running; he never looked away from the television; eyes wide open and did try his hardest! Just very sweet. When we were done I gave him a huge hug and told him how proud I am of him; and I also thanked him because I told him I need more exercise too so this is perfect for the 2 of us. : ) Again, thank you for being there and your kind words. Love, Wanda. > > Hello dear Wanda, > > I had tears in my eyes reading your post. I could just picture it! Oh how wonderful that he worked up a sweat! tee hee > > I'm so proud of him and of you dear one! You are such an inspiration as always. I am adding you and your dad to my prayer journal, so know that prayers are being lifted up daily for you both. I hope you will let me know how it is going....I know you're awfully busy but it gives me such joy to hear all about it. I get to be a part of it vicariously through you! > > You know, maybe you should write the people who did the tape and let them know what you saw...about it being too quick.
