Guest guest
I must add wall we had knocked out and replaced was so damaged that room above it was 'sloping' SO house was ALSO jacked up some to correct slope. That may have caused the cracking that occured. However the vibrations to house must be considered. Perhaps we should have just 'lived with' the sloping rather than try to correct, i.e. poured new wall exactly to height old wall was even though it was sloping. At least it couldn't have sunk any further and wasn't noticeable to vision but you kind of 'felt' it when walking in dining room, slight walk 'downhill'. I don't think a guest would have noticed it but you do if living here. __________________________________________________
