1st Fill Experience

I am feeling really scammed right now. I went to Lincoln to see Dr.

Hung for my first fill today. When I called 3 weeks ago the set up was

that since I was banded in Mexico I would have to have fluoroscopy

with my fill. Fine, that meant I had to have a consultation with the

Dr at his office before my fill and that would add an extra $202

dollars onto my fill cost of $100 for the doc and $150 for the surgery

center. Okay,I thought if I must. This morning they called and said

that he had an emergency surgery so he would have to do my

consultation at the surgery center. Okay not a problem. So I get to

the surgery center they take me back yada yada yada. I am finally in

the fluoroscopy room with my tummy hanging out for 15 minutes waiting

for him to show up. He comes in spends a total of 10 minutes numbing

me, finding the port, injecting 1.8 cc of fluid, watching me drink

and we are all done. I am so torked that I had to pay that " new

patient consultation fee " when he was in and out like that. I wanted

to say something but then if I made him mad I didn't have anyplace

else close to go. (I am gritting my teeth). Otherwise went well over

quick on clear liquids for 24 hours call if a problem. So I spent

$452.00 on a less than 10 minute procedure. Plus I had to listen to

him whine about the small ports they put in Mexico because most people

don't go back there. If there was any way to go back I sure would!
