Guest guest
Speaking of lawyers, when I first figured out what was making me sick, I contacted a lawyer and he asked me the entire story, including details like the address, building manager name, etc., then when he finished asking me a gazillion questions, he told me that he only takes defense cases and he would defend my building manager but not help me and hung up the phone! I bet he contacted the building manager and gave him a heads up. EVIL PERSON

Guest guest
When I was at the point where Dr told me " most people with CFS commit suicide " , I knew that it was going to take something drastic to get me out of this. I knew that all my stuff was slamming me to death so I decided to get away from EVERYTHING. Part of this was to get a different truck (for my camper/desert/avoidance scheme) So I went to dealers and found a used truck that didn't feel too horrible to me - I was so chemically sensitive that I couldn't even get near the new ones. When I found one and went inside and made the deal, they took the truck out to be cleaned and sprayed it with " new car smell " . It almost killed me. I couldn't stand to drive the truck with all the windows open and wind blazing through at fifty miles an hour. I took it back and asked to be let out of the deal because they had altered the truck after I bought it in a manner that was damaging to me. They accused me of buyers remorse and refused. I demonstrated that if I got within ten feet of the truck, I would turn bright red. They could see that I wasn't kidding but they didn't care. I begged and pleaded but they just said " Tough " . There was no way I could drive that truck, my eyes went cross and I would get brainfogged so bad I barely knew which side of the road I was supposed to be on. Someone told me about a lawyer who " handled MCS cases " so I called and had the same experience as Lori. After hearing my story, he laughed and said that he was the guy that the dealers call when they need to destroy " people like you " . He outlined exactly how he was going to demolish me if I took this to court. He said that for every " quack doctor " I produced to back me up, he could bring in ten specialists who can " prove " that MCS doesn't exist except in the minds of lunatics and the crazy doctors who spent so much time listening to their patients that they actualy started to believe this nonsense. He said " My professional advice to you is to drop it. You don't have the money or the science behind you and you don't have a chance in hell of winning " . So I was forced to trade in that truck on another used piece of crap that was on the lot that had outgassed enough not to bother me too much. I lost fifteen thousand dollars instantly because they sprayed the truck with chemicals and they had absolutely no mercy whatsoever even though they could see with their own eyes that I would have a visible response to the " new car smell " or any of the new offgassing vehicles. This was JONES WEST FORD in RENO!! Damn them all to Hell. If only I could " give " this problem to anyone.... -
