Guest guest
Hi Pat, I hear ya. Loud and clear. Welcome to our group. I live in Wyoming and was dx with AIH in 2001. I have a mild case of AIH, but now I am discovering some additional conditions/complications. After my liver bx, my gastro started me on prednisone, and it brought my LFT's down for awhile. When they gradually increased, then he added 6MP to my meds. I haven't had any side effects other than weight gain from the prednisone and some edema in my ankles. Most days I feel pretty good, and the prednisone and 6MP are keeping the LFT's in or near the normal range. What about AIH is making you so angry other than the fact that you were dx with it? Anything in particular? My emotions have been all over the place thanks to the prednisone and my denial about AIH. I have more of a grasp on things now, so I am more accepting of the AIH and of myself. (in WY)

Guest guest
, I just lost it when I read your post. I had the same thing happen to me twice today. Once on the phone with a computer tech that was helping me out with some problems and as you would say " I brought up my favorite subject. " He had mentioned he had a friend that just remediated their home because the 6 yr old just started the beginnings of our nightmare. They caught it in time. Then I had a major media station contact me about my story in RD and I told him we have a story within a story here. I explained to him about my wife and thousands of others across the country and their experiences with mold or IAQ problems. He emailed me back within minutes and confirmed everything that I just spoke to him about, by speaking to another victim (in his office) that is suffering from severe neurological disorders and many other symptoms of course. Do these environmental agencies think by ignoring the issue that this makes them look intelligent or how ignorant they truly are? How obvious. The ole' mighty buck must be so much more important than human lives. I can't believe they can sleep at night knowing what they are doing to our children. We all know how this has destroyed our lives and they are allowing it to continue. God help them.
