Hello everyone! I am getting so exctied. My time for surgery is almost

here. I will be leaving the 26th and having surgery on the 27th.

The other day my son and hubby came down with a bug. Don't know if it's

the flu or what, but they are running a low grade fever, coughs, and

fatigue. I am so worried about getting it. I have been walking around

with my mask on and lysol in hand. I won't let them get near me. I have

set them up with soup, liquids, and all the feel better meds. I have

been washing my hands like crazy. Since this bug is mostly in the chest

it concerns me with the surgery. I am trying to keep positive and

sayind " I AM NOT GOING TO GET SICK! " . I was curious and called the

airlines to see what it would cost to change the dates and OMG about

$400 per ticket. That's insane. Anyways, Here's to good health! Dawna

Oh, man, I can relate!! ;o) Two weeks before my surgery, my folks

came down with something. Mom said her's was a sinus infection but

Dad had something nasty; similar to what you describe. My kid and

his kids all had things. We were in the middle of a flu epidemic in

this area.

Zicam became my friend. ;o) And also colloidal silver. And

vitamins. And I think I should have bought stock in the Purel

company. ;o) I wound up not getting anything (whew!!) and still

haven't. I couldn't say what I think helped the most but I wasn't

going to take any chances either. Oh, and this was the one and only

time I bought travel insurance.

Think positive! You'll be ok. :oD
