Guest guest
I moved into social housing in West Toronto from a house in North York Toronto. In the three weeks I've been there they still have not removed the five inches of dust sitting in the fan in the washroom, which my Dad is kind enough to clean, and I have water stains in the storage room. I have a humidifier, because without it I can't sleep, breath or eat. My bed feels like sandpaper but now I'am putting peppermint oil on the mattress which helps, I don't thing the peppermint oil with lemon and water was a good idea too much! My eyes usually feel like rocks in the morning, and the first week I was there I woke up with my face looking like it was completely sunburnt, and I'am using way more Almond Oil as a moisturizer, and bathe twice a day, and can't eat much and prefer to squat on a cushion on the floor to stretch over sitting in a big chair! But I never had ANY of these problems before, my hair's falling out like crazy and going white and it's very brittle which is why I bathe with almond oil every night hair included! The ventilation in that building is so poor, I can't believe it! I used to live in an apt. in Winnipeg, Manitoba (very dry there) and never had these problems, just thristy during Xmas, that's all! I'am taking tonnes of Olive Oil, Omega 3's, Flax, a multi-vitamin, and have to get a shower cleanser from Earth Roots for $70.00, and a magnetic coffee mug, or water cup, and maybe an air purifier, but I'am next to a meat processing plant which my neighbor believes releases many toxins, causing her tonnes of complications (she has fibromyaliga, and always feels better when she's away from that building), it's next too hydro towers too! But I'am really amazed that this apartment building is so stuffy, and dry! The units are very hot, but I rarely have my heat on and the hallway is freezing at night! I'am just amazed that they don't have central heating like in regular buildings, that would be better for people's health, and the lack of open windows and fresh air in the hallways I consider exceptionally bad with the apartment being dry, and stuffy, and they never turn down the heat in any apartments in Toronto! Why don't they consider having grass and tree's on the roof, and central heating? Who can I talk to about the problem in social housing? Nobody seems to really know or care, but even did a report about the problems with social housing back 30 years ago, and I think all politican's have, but the architects who build these new building keep being paid pennies, and the ventilation systems continue being hazardous! If anybody can tell me what to do, please let me know. My email is sunsetjl68@..., my name is Janice. Please use a subject other than hi! Thank-you. _________________________________________________________________ Powerful Parental Controls Let your child discover the best the Internet has to offer. http://join.msn.com/?pgmarket=en-ca & page=byoa/prem & xAPID=1994 & DI=1034 & SU=http://\ hotmail.com/enca & HL=Market_MSNIS_Taglines Start enjoying all the benefits of MSNĀ® Premium right now and get the first two months FREE*.
