Guest guest
Hi friends- Two quick notes on activism at the Int'l AIDS Conference: - The AIDS2008 Conference has provided a space for activists to meet during the conference. For anyone who is interested in plugging in to activism, or strategizing with people about actions, or recruiting for protests, please feel free to come by the Activist Meeting Space in the Global Village at 8am and 7pm (19:00) every day starting on 4 August (through 7 August). At past conferences, there have been nightly activist meetings that anyone is welcome to join, where planning for some of the next day's actions have taken place. In an effort to make sure that as many people as possible can participate, many people felt that it would be better to have both a morning and night meeting, and keep both shorter. Attached to this email is the map of the Global Village. The activist space is marked at the top in orange. - AIDS2008activism listserv is up and running. If you'd like to get emails about events and opportunities for advocacy, please email me and I'll add you to the list. Thanks!
