Guest guest
Thank you for the information about what is widely accepted as illnesses caused by funig. We will put this info to good use. I just attended the Surgeon Generals' Workshop on Indoor Environments. Although they are still greatly behind the curve on taking what is known about ill health effects of indoor molds, there are those among the decision makers who are now receptive to gaining a better understanding nad then implementing to help us. Numerous MD's, Phd's, architects, and government employees spoke of the need to proactively address the problem caused by poor indoor environment, particularly mold. The wheels turn slowly. There is much to be done. The number one thing that all seemed to be in agreement on is that the public needs to be made aware of the true health dangers of indoor mold and other contaminants. By the end of the meeting, it was not even a question of if. The question was how best to dissiminate this information to the public. Our job is to now keep this issue in the forefront. Help is on it's way. We simply need to encourage it to come faster! Sharon
