carpet mold levels? different than air?

My school library space gave me mcs last year and Im still out.

Just uyesterday I saw the summer levels of mold measured by an outside compnay.

100,000 cfu/unit penicillium

so is that a lot or not?

I know in air it is....but how are rug levels differnet
