March with us – committed, everyday Americans of varied backgrounds – to launch the Justice Movement and demand political action that attains real results: · Electoral Justice: It’s time for big corporate money to get out of politics· Economic Justice: Creating Jobs & Reverse growing income disparities in the U.S.· U.S. & Global Health Justice: Create a Performance-based System and Full Fight Against Global AIDS, TB, & Malaria WHEN: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Monday, January 17, 2011 WHERE: Meet at 11:00a.m. at the nearly-completed Luther King, Jr. Memorial on the National Mall (on the field adjacent to West Basin Drive SW). From there, we will march to the steps of the Lincoln Memorial for a rally in the exact location where Luther King Jr. delivered his famous “I Have a Dream” speech.SAFETY: Please keep in mind to DRESS WARMLY and BRING PLENTY WATER (and FOOD, SNACKS), as dehydration can occur rapidly even in very cold weather.WHO: The Justice Movement is a group of committed, everyday Americans of varied backgrounds and political views who are dedicated to galvanizing political action so that our leaders serve the cause of Justice.
