Guest guest
Kay, If you are seeing Dr. Feng, she will know what to do with them...ask , who went to her too. But I think Dr. Feng will package them up for proper handling, and she can have them sent to Dr. Blais if you want him to analyze them for litigation. He is an expert on failed medical devices, and can be trusted to prepare a proper report for legal cases. I myself would trust him if I was trying to litigate. His contact info is in our links section under doctors webpages. Hope this helps! Hello All:Does anyone have any ideas about what to do with the implants, My PS, in Ohio does not suggest that I keep them because of litigation, lawsuit, I live in California, and do not trust any Doctors in this area due to the Silicone Cover up. My Doctor just recently said he is afraid to do anything, he does'nt want to be a part of any legal activity. The Attorney I am talking to wants the pathology report before they consider my case....k varni

Guest guest
Mine are silicone and I'm keeping mine after the Pathology did their part I'm keeping mine. They are stored in a liquid so you don't have to keep them frozen. And I'm suing as soon as I find the manufacturer and lot number. Can I sue my origianl PS too since I did not know I was getting silicone implants? He said I was getting predominantly saline. diana dickieson <scissorstar@...> wrote: hey k, what to do with your implants???the BIG question, i had mine tested for pathegens and antigens, now iam throwing them off a cliff, for closure.....sort of like a funeral, to celebrate my new found health, and the life i finally got back......I LOOKED INTO SUING MY MANUFACTER "MENTOR" but i was told by a lawyer that there are so many people trying to sue them that it was a hopeless cause.....SO THERE ARE MANY MANY MANY SICK WOMEN BEFORE US.....GOOD LUCK.....DIANA >From: "kayvarni" >Reply- > >Subject: What to do with implants? >Date: Mon, 25 Aug 2003 21:53:18 -0000 > > >Hello All: > >Does anyone have any ideas about what to do with the implants, My PS, >in Ohio does not suggest that I keep them because of litigation, >lawsuit, I live in California, and do not trust any Doctors in this >area due to the Silicone Cover up. Guest guest
Hey , Now there's an idea for closure! ha ha ha I like that one! My implants are with Dr. Blais, who checked them over and I figured they were probably more valuable to him than to me. I have no desire to have them back. For saline women, suing will probably be a dark journey down a dark path with no hope for a positive resolution, except for those who had implants pre-June 1993. They can still get in the Dow lawsuit I believe. But what you said is absolutely true...there are definitely many, many sick women before us, and with the numbers of women getting implants these days, there will no doubt be many, many more to come. That's for sure. And like us, they won't have much hope for justice to be done when they discover how ill they are. Hopefully they've been fully warned ahead of time, thanks to women like you who won't stay quiet. Hugs to you! So glad you are healing so well.
