It does help . Mine are above the muscle and although there was pain after implantation I was able to tolerate it without medication. I have CC and I have had these textured saline for 8yrs. My biggest scare is anestesia last time I had a bad experience vomiting, hyperventilating upon awaking from it and I didnt feel right for a month after.

No, at least for me, explant was a piece of cake in comparison. I was actually suprised at how much LESS pain I had with explant. I was able to be up and about in a few days, but with implant, I was in terrible pain. Upper body movement had me screaming in pain for the first few days and I needed help raising off the bed to even go to the bathroom for several days with implant. It was such a relief that explant was easy in comparison.
