Hello Everyone:

I have been reading and preparing for my removal of Silicone. I

believe that it's important to remove Silicone, not just the

implants. The implant surgery removal is the first step, leaving the

remaining silicone in the body will not show the best signs of

healing. This has to be done by a Qualified Surgeon, that knows the

difference. I have contacted many Surgeons that are willing to take

the implants out, a wide scope of removal charges.,most of them do

not detect the Silicone in other parts of the body, just the

breasts. We know the travel of Silicone. I talked to so many!!!e-

mail, etc..

I was told that 1 tablespoon of Silicone, could thin it's self

tocover a football field. If it is not done correct the first time

the recovery and symptoms will be altered. I have read that it is in

the blood. It alters our breathing, also oxygen intake...along with so

many other side affects. Some of the Surgeons will remove " en-bloc "

yet, they will not go further. I feel, that the Surgeon that I will

choose is Dr. Lu-Lean Feng, Pepperpike, Ohio. I am not saying that

there isn't other qualified ones, She does a Capsulectomy,Ultrasound

guided mapping, ,and removal of certain lymph nodes containg Silicone

(This is important to me, because of Swollen Lymph nodes.)She works

with Radiolologist, Dr. Leonard Kahn, considered one of the worlds

leading experts on ultrasound diagnosis of ruptured implants. I have

chose to have a Mastopexy(breast Lift). Surgery Scheduled for Sept

14th. She works with Insurance Companies, very successfull.(I have no

Insurance, darn!) $7000.00-$15,000.,including Lift..It all varies on

what all needs to be done.

I have ordered a Infrared Sauna, I feel that this will be valuable

for detox. I will be taking Fenugreek, Dong quai, fennel seed, Saw

palmetto, notherwort, agnus cactus, blackcohosh, wild yam. Immunicol,

and HGH(human Growth Hormone).I have been taking immunocol, for 4

months, and the herbs for two weeks. My meds from Dr Feng. will be

here shortly I will check her list of things not to take prior to

surgery, some herbs arre not recommended before surgery. I want to

thank all of you for the great!!!!information. Note!

we all have different symptoms, and have to do different trials and

errors for each of them. I read every letter that is posted in our

group, My heart hurts! I cant get through the letters without crying

out to God for All of Us, the tears flow! The Number One Work we need

to do Is Pray! With out prayer nothing will work! Rogene, Patty

Illena, , , , Vicki, , I know I did'nt mention

all please forgive me . My love and Hugs to all of you. I've had two

sets now since 1989. I am not too sure exactly what to exspect. It's

comforting to know that God already Knows!. One thing that helps me

sleep is sleeping on a thick sheep or angora skin, these are also man

made. I know you can get them at Costco. I've been using one for

Months, I can actually sleep more evenly less joint pains and neck

pains, its much easier on the breasts, sounds strange! It Helps, I

carry it all over the house My husband says it's the indian in me, He

could be right, If I don't sleep on it I can't move in the morning.

P.S. I thought it was strange that MTV wanted 18-28, usually The

damage that is grave ridden is after that, If they had them done at

18, it would only be 10 years, most women don't have them done until

mid twenties or thirties, Putting you near your 30's 40's 50's where

the Silicone had time to migrate and spread through out the entire

body. I guess it's a start, at most I pray the ones that had them

done a short span will recover quicker, and maybe the younger women

will not get poisoned. God save our future MOMS!

God only know how many already died because they were mis diagnosed.

Sorry, I did'nt mean for this to be long.

Love and Inspiration!

Kay Varni

I lookforward to the postings, and e-mails, thankyou!

I so enjoy the e-mail.

Kay, my heart joined with yours in this e-mail message. Dr. Feng removed my

saline implants December 2002 and is a really terrific Dr. professionally

and personally. You will be very pleased with her care and the staff as

well. She also found part of the original silicone implants that had been

placed in me in 1976 and was supposed to have been removed in 1995. She is

awesome and I will be remembering you in my prayers for God's hand to be

over all and that you will know His presence with you.

I do have some ?'s for you if you have the time to respond. Do you remember

where you heard the statement that 1 tablespoon of silicone could thin

itself to cover a football field. And also the source for how the migration

of the silicone alters our breathing and ozygen intake. I have problems

with not enough oxygen intake and currently use inhalers and a BI-PAP

machine and could use the info for my Pulmonologist. My personal e-mail is

deetodd@... Thanks, dee

Hello Dee...

I have a question regarding the inhalers, are they asthmatic type. I have been to an asthma doctor, and was told I may or may not have asthma. I had my saline implants removed June 2003, had implants exactly 3 years, still having breathing problems and pain in my leg muscles whenever I walk. I am currently on Advair and albuterol when needed. The symptoms seem to come and go....my next step was to see an allergist. What do you think, I see an endocrinologist next week, for my thyroid....take care.....

Kay, Blessings to you on your up and coming explant with Dr Feng, you are in good hands, she is at the top. And will do you a great job I am sure. Its good you are going to be taking things as you listed for detox. That is so important. You sound like you have a wonderful plan in front of you, and I am sure you will do awesome! I love to hear that this site helps you, as it has greatly for me overall. Your post was heartfelt, we do need prayer, and the Lords help in this implant mess. Its so sad, how implants are made behind deceit, and money. With no thought of the women bearing them. I only wish you the best, and good luck!Keep us posted! ----- Original Message -----

Hey to : I think you should pursue another Pulmonologost to check out your breathing difficulties. This maybe doesn't get it with me. There is a test called a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) that will determine the level of your breathing problems and the Dr. can go from there. I have only 35% usage of my small bronchioles and have sleep apnea for which I am using a BI-PAP machine when I sleep to help my breathing during sleep hours. I am using the Combivent Aerosol with the Advair. The RT told me that the Advair will be the key to keeping off Prednisone for me. Hope this helps and answers your ?s. dee

Reply for : A Pulmonologist is a specialist who works with problems of the lungs. Often they will be listed in the Critical Care area. I would be sure he/she is board certified and has privilieges (can work out of, have patients in) at your main hospital or hospital of your choice in case you need tests or hospitalization for asthma or breathing difficulties. Yes, they do treat asthma. dee

Hope this helps and answers your ?s. dee

Kay, my heart joined with yours in this e-mail message. Dr. Feng removed mysaline implants December 2002 and is a really terrific Dr. professionallyand personally. You will be very pleased with her care and the staff aswell. She also found part of the original silicone implants that had beenplaced in me in 1976 and was supposed to have been removed in 1995. She isawesome and I will be remembering you in my prayers for God's hand to beover all and that you will know His presence with you.I do have some ?'s for you if you have the time to respond. Do you rememberwhere you heard the statement that 1 tablespoon of silicone could thinitself to cover a football field. And also the source for how the migrationof the silicone alters our breathing and ozygen intake. I have problemswith not enough oxygen intake and currently use inhalers and a BI-PAPmachine and could use the info for my Pulmonologist. My personal e-mail isdeetodd@...
