I am just at the beginning of this dreded journey. My situation is as

follows. My first set of Silicone implants were put in in 1989. In

2001 I went to the PS because of problems and size difference,

something felt definitely wrong. My PS said that it wasn't due to

the Silicone, that there is no facts that silicone causes problems

I went thru another surgery and woke from the surgery to find out

that both of my implants were broke and had been for years. he went

in not knowing for sure. I asked him what he put in me His reply was

Silicone, I asked why ? He said that I would'nt be happy with

saline.and we talked about it and that is what I wanted, I did not

know they were broke or the problems with silicone. I was very upset.

and started getting even sicker until now where I don't leave my

house and i put a Manager running my business. Sixteen months after

the surgery he sent me 15 pages in a 8x11 envelope of papers he

wanted me to sign to be a part of a Adjunct Mentor Silicone Study. I

was unaware that there was a study and he put the implants in me

without my consent. These papers still have not been signed. In the

form It tells meof my rights as " Experimental Subjects Bill Of

Rights " . I needed to sign all forms before I could be a canidate for

the experiment. He used me for a lab rat, and now wants me to sign

the forms to protect him. Wrong! I have talked to a few good

attorneys yet nothing until i have the pathology report, T^he only

thing on my side is the forms that I still have there dated, with his

cover page and signature in original envelope and postage date. Most

attorneys say that you are beyond

the time clause. That is safe for the attorneys because usually were

not sick until after the legal time to file a claim.

The thing about the handling of the implants is a third party is

better as to not break the chain of custody. According to the Dr.

Feng Clinic.

I don'tknow its all still so iffy.

I think that the Government is afraid to have any cases because of

how many are affected. We're are talking a major epidemic.....One

that the quilt is wearing out, and no longer keeps the justice warm.

I don'tknow what will happen until after my surgery onSept16. I know

that The last PS did not do a replacement in the proper procedure. I

will be happy if I will be able to walk in a grocery store to buy my

groceries., or walk upstairs without feeling like I will have a heart

attack, only 15 steps. Just hang on!!!Thats all we can do, keep

writing, reading, keep gaining knowledge. We will win in the

end.I'll keep you all informed after the surgery. I'll have more

answers then.
