Guest guest
Yes, we KTea drinkers are a rare breed. I have drunk the tea for around 6 years now and have loved every minute of it. As a matter of fact, I got me a bottle of it now. I will ween myself from it for a few days every now and then and detox my body. this is a personal experience. Others do different things by experimenting. Keep drinking and enjoy this wonderful drink. Some just can't handle cleaning their bodies and would rather cover the wrong with pharmaceutical drugs. Its just easier to do. Be an example to your neighbor and show them the benefits by living it. Chris http://www.kountrykombucha.com experiences It seems that kombucha has different experiences in individuals. I would be interested in hearing others experiences with kombucha. My neighbor and her sister were drinking ktea and have since stopped for different reasons- one had constant headaches and another had nausea. I was explaining to them about the body's healing crisis - but they wanted nothing to do with that. Are kombucha drinkers a breed of their own- conscious about their health- or ....? Personally I love to drink the stuff- and WHAT is it about kombucha- is it physical, energetic or mind over matter? I have to say - after a couple of weeks of drinkig it I felt like poo- but later on things got better-now after three months- I wouldn't be without it. I would love to read about others experiences with kombucha- negative or positive. This kombucha is very intriguing! fina
Guest guest
Hi and fellow Kombucha drinkers, I have a question regarding the statement made below by and am interested in different perspectives regarding this. It was my understanding that Ktea does detox the body and that is why I am presently suffering (possibly) from GI discomfort (I do not have the stomach flu). I thought that once my body reached a healthy medium of Candida ratio then the discomfort would cease. So, my question is this, why would one need to stop drinking Ktea to detox? From what are you detoxing Chris? Thanks in advance, Molly Stanley <chrisshann@...> wrote: Yes, we KTea drinkers are a rare breed. Guest guest
I don't watch too much tv, what I meant was that the distorted idea of perfect is on tv. I actually don't like perfect anything...except food maybe. Margret Pegg <Minstrel@...> wrote:In message <20050518214238.32475.qmail@...> you wrote: > Thank you for your insight Chris. Guest guest
Hi , I had gotten sick, I have had bronchial problems since I was little and am prone to pneumonia, bronchitis and asthma. I don't like doctors, (hadn't seen a doctor of any kind for 25 years) pills or shots and will only go when I get so bad it seems like I can't get my breath........I was at that point when my first brew was ready to drink (thank you for the culture). By the end of the first day I was feeling better, by the second day I could breath and by the 3rd day I had energy, I felt better than I had in a long time. I did have a set back, my son really needs the tea and so does my sister, so I was giving away the KT, until I could make enough for 3........But, I am not and never have been a water drinker so you can guess what happened when I finally got enough for me, too! I felt awful. (Thanks again, Judy, for pushing me to the water.) I do have my tired days, yes, but nothing at all like when I had a good day now and then. Now it's a bad day now and then. I don't know what it would have been like if I had stayed right with it from the start, there were 2 weeks I didn't have any for myself, that isn't going to happen again. I've only been brewing about 2 months. So far it hasn't been able to clear up my bronchial problems, I still have to use the inhaler in damp weather and it has been damp for a long, time here. I am using it less, I no longer wake up at night and have to grab the inhaler, usually just in the morning now and that is much better. My whole life I had tons of energy, I was one of those people who couldn't set still and never needed more than 4 hours sleep. I'm almost back to myself now and it has not been all that long. I think, and I'm not real sure, that the first brew I made was an 8 day brew, so I have stuck with the 8 days. Peggy Hi Peggy, If I may ask, how long did it take you to get better from CFS? And what changes did you notice? I mean, did you just wake up after 3 weeks and find out that you had lots of energy? Or was it a gradual progression towards getting better every day? Or was it in cycles, you know similar to the way the stock market doesn't go up in a straight line? and were you using regular Kampuchea or a more mature brew? . Guest guest
Hi Peggy, It is interesting that kombucha helped you out that quickly... never thought you would see results from kombucha for something like CFS in a few days. I'm curious also that especially since you have had bronchial problems all your life, was your voice weak when you had CFS? If so, is it much stronger now? michael. Guest guest
Hi Judy, You're welcome and thank you for introducing me to KT! Peggy Hi Peggy, This is a wonderful testimonial and thank you for your blessings. It makes me happy to know that I'm helping someone. I have printed this out for those who aren't quite as convinced that this stuff really works. Think I will start a scrap book of testimonials. Keep up the good work. Bless you too, and all the rest of you on the list. Without you all I wouldn't be so informed and motivated. Judy
Guest guest
I am 61 years old and I have a blue eye and a brown eye with a small flick of blue I am still very uncomfortable with my eyes being different, my entire life people have stared at me like I am a freak it made me resort to wearing color contacts to camouflage the blue eye so it looks almost brown, I feel like I am being deceiving, the man I have been dating for 3 years has never seen me without contacts. I really admire the young people in this group that are proud of their eyes and should be, I was never taught that growing up I was made to feel ashamed of mine and it has stuck with me all of my life....We never talked about my eyes when I was growing up I was or what caused it...... Is their anyone else in the group that is older like myself?
Guest guest
I will be 55 years old on Halloween !! Now how is that for " different " when one also has two different colored eyes. I have one blue and one brown. I think you are blowing this two different colored eye thing way out of proportion. I have NEVER heard of anyone who thought they were a freak who had two different colored eyes. I can't tell you the number of people that I have met that WISHED Their eyes were like mine. I was looking closely in this new magnified mirror that I recently purchased, and discovered that some of the bottom of my brown eye was no longer brown... but was changing to blue. This was really disturbing for me....and it was the first time in my life that I realized I " wanted " two different colored eyes. I did NOT want my eyes the same color. But if they are going to suddenly change, I would prefer two blue over two brown !! You apparently don't trust this boyfriend of three years... or you would have already shown him your eyes. If he leaves after seeing your eyes, you should count that as a HUGE blessing, because he is shallow and superficial. You are 61 years old !! What happens if you lose a breast to cancer and suffer some other disfiguring condition ?? > > I am 61 years old and I have a blue eye and a brown eye with a small > flick of blue I am still very uncomfortable with my eyes being > different, my entire life people have stared at me like I am a freak > it made me resort to wearing color contacts to camouflage the blue eye > so it looks almost brown, I feel like I am being deceiving, the man I > have been dating for 3 years has never seen me without contacts. > > I really admire the young people in this group that are proud of their > eyes and should be, I was never taught that growing up I was made to > feel ashamed of mine and it has stuck with me all of my life....We > never talked about my eyes when I was growing up I was or what caused > it...... > Is their anyone else in the group that is older like myself? >

I am 52, I have secto-heterochromia!!! I have hazel in one eye and blue/hazel in the other!!! They're not as extreme color difference as yours but I have had them most of my life. My parents have a baby pic(B & W)/along with my sibs pics, hanging in their hall and I have a twinkle light in my left eye from the flash!! I've worn glasses since I was 10 yrs old. I showed my eyes to my sibs this past yr and they were surprised. I feel for ya for having to hide your eyes. Nobody should have to do that. I have a dentist, workfriend and local party stored owner who has that optical prob. with one eye goin in opposition direction than the other. They can't hide them at their workplaces. Nice guys too!!! Have u checked out the pics in this group? I think there are a few elder ppl in there!! Unfortunately, I'm not!! Well, I hope this does help ya out some!! ed
