Guest guest
Yikes! This stuff is expensive! Essentially, the best price I found for Immunocal was $59.40 for 30 pouches, with the recommendation to take 1 pouch a day, so about $2 a day for it. ImuPlus is $83 for 60 pouches, but they say to take 2 a day...is this right? So it is actually more expensive for this one, at almost $3 a day. <sigh> It seems everything is always so much money.... Guess I'll stay with the NAC and eat more walnuts.... AND keep looking! Thanks Rita! You might check prices at immunesupport.com. https://www.immunesupport.com/shop/product.cfm?product__code=N004Whey protein is THE best thing for building Glutathione which happens to be the most important antioxidant in the body and without it death occurs. The thing is, some people are allergic to the single milk protein in whey products, and I am one of those people, and I get very sick on just a small amount. On Glutathione, there are several things that will increase it, here are a few:Vitamin C... my CFS MD likes C-Plex Pwdr by AmniAlpha Lipoic Acid (may not be tolerated with heavy metal toxification) SAMeVitamin B6 NAC (may not be tolerated with heavy metal toxification)Branched Chain Aminos Selenium... the best is the liquid by Nutricology swished in mouth first then swallowedZinc (taken with Selenium) 25 mg Green Tea SilymarinTurmeric Betaine HCL (take up to six caps as tolerated with every meal)Ambrotose by MannatechPantothentic Acid CoQ10Idebenone (synthetic CoQ10 which is more effective if you are low in oxygen..hypoxic...than CoQ10 which could actually cause free radicals in hypoxic individuals...otherwise take both forms)Very important, chlorine and fluoride use the same receptors on the cells that Glutathione uses,, so just avoiding these will allow you make use of the Glutathione you do make.Rita
