Thank you so much for writing to our group and letting us know of your decision. This is probably the best decision you can make for yourself and for your future!

I'm glad you got to see the MTV show...that was Kristi Wilmore on the show who had the awful trouble with her implants, she is a wonderful young lady from Louisiana. The last I heard from her she was getting married and doing well. Her experience echoes what so many of us have gone through with our implants, and it seems that there are many, many doctors who won't acknowledge the implants as a trigger in these symptoms. But it is hard to deny the connection when we start healing after removal! Getting our life back is a long, hard process and not much fun.

MTV is doing another show, and it sounds like they are going to be interviewing from our group next....I hope you'll be able to see that one as well. Stay tuned! We'll let you know what is going on with MTV!

What part of the Caribbean are you in, Odessa? I will be in the Dominican Republic in September, in Santiago. I'll be part of a mission team working with Eduard and his church. Wouldn't it be great to run into you!

To whom it may concern, My name is Odessa Timmerman. I live in the caribbean and have been saving all my money for breast implants despite my boyfriend's contentment with my body.I however have always wished to have bigger breast, since i was always the laughing stock of my skool friends who would tease me about my extremely small breast. I was scowering the internet to find good surgeon in the caribbean and have found one in Costa Rica, despite the high price i payed for my ticket and all the advise i got against this procedure i was determined to make this trip and have the implant next month for my birthday.I have an appointment for september 17th for the surgery... lastnight i was at home with my boyfriend we rented a few videos but needed some food...while he was bathing i was restless and started watching tv,there was a program on MTV on breast implants and i told myself i needed to watch it to see what i'm going to put myself through.Even though there were happy endings to most of the girls on the show there was this one girl who had a bad experience with implant. she was giving people like me an oppertunity to see the sad ending to some implants and after see that i'm convinced that i need to take any thoughts of breast implant out of my head and be happy with what God has given me. i thank all you heroine for saving me from making that stupid decision....thankx and don't give up...your efforts have touch and change my nine.this count for something.odessa
